Official Announcement
Dear Friends,
We love sending letters to you! God has so blessed us to be able to see His creation of different countries and cultures. Many of you have been supporting us since our first mission trip together to South Carolina with Cru. We returned from that training and experience committing to do missions every summer that God enabled. You have been with us as we served the communities in Puerto Rico, evangelized in a closed country in East Asia, and counseled at Crystal Springs Baptist Camp in North Dakota. You have continued to pray for us as we learned to live missionally in Minot through leading bible studies, teaching Sunday school, serving at First Baptist, and working at our jobs. You supported us as Caytee interned with Avant Ministries last summer in Tanzania and experienced yet another culture. Upon returning from Africa, we made a new commitment to do long-term missions.
As you might have guessed, that is where this new update letter comes in. Forrest initially applied for a position in Southeast Asia, but during the interview, he was told we might be a good fit for a team in Spain! For those of you who know Caytee well, this is a dream come true. It never ceases to amaze us how God abundantly blesses us beyond what we deserve. We will be working at a media center in Southern Spain. It is a unique opportunity to have two mission fields: living in Spain and ministering in a closed country in Northern Africa. Forrest will be using his tech skills and web development experience in this position. Caytee will be using her foundation of Spanish to volunteer with children and spread the gospel in Malaga. We will both attend language school upon arriving in Spain. We are excited to do missions and reach people for the gospel.
